Feature Demo (Color Orientation)
Quick help: select
an Image , and click the Go button.
Tips:
-
Have more patience for
the first image to be displayed. It usually takes more time to set
up the connection and less after the initilization.
-
Click the Random button
to get new images randomly which could be used as the reference images
in the new query.
-
Use "By Num" button
and the next text input field to get an image from our image database by
the virtual index. (The same number will corresond to the same image)
-
Change the weight to
looser to get more images, and restricter to get less images. From
my experience, the best weight is 7 or 6. Sometimes you can only
have one or very few results, but maybe that means there is no similar
images in the database.
-
Select an image, and
click the ZoomIn button to display that image in high resolution.
-
When you click your
mouse on an image at the first time, you will SELECT that image; the second
time click means GO, or query on that image. You can also set the
meaning of the second click to ZoomIn by check the ZoomIn radio button.
-
You can put an image
in the Cart temporarily so that you can query on it or view it by zoomin
mode later.
-
The images in the Cart
can be checked out later. In the check out mode, you can save the
image you are interested in your local disk. (This feature is only
available for NetScape browser)
Distance Measures:
-
ColorOrientation.
This is the image feature I am working on. (Using more image features
in our Fids Demo)
